Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Derryhum and Bunnahave are recorded in County Cavan. Both are small earthworks that may have been defended or marked a boundary. The name and shape suggest they belonged to ordinary people, not fairy tales.
Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 22m) enclosed by a much-denuded low earthen bank. From S-W-NW a modern field boundary abuts the outer face of the bank. Original entrance not recognisable.
