No fairy ever flew there. A family lived inside the stone-faced bank, dug the outer ditch, and left behind an entrance wide enough for a cart or a child running home. Centuries of ploughing and wall-building have since bitten through the ring, but the shallow circle still marks the boundary of that forgotten household.

In mixed farmland. Described by Cody (1989, 196-7, no. 47) as a poorly preserved subcircular rath (24.5m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by a stone-faced earthen bank and an external fosse; the latter survives from SW to NW.
