Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Derryclogh Lower stands in pasture atop a hillock, a circular raised area thirty-one and a half metres wide enclosed by a two-metre-high earthen bank. A four-metre break faces west, inviting entry past the shallow southern ditch. People may have lived inside the ring before forgetting the name, while fairies took the house after the lamps went out.

In pasture, atop hillock. Circular, slightly raised area (31.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.4m), with external fosse (D 0.2m) S->WSW. Break in bank (Wth 4m) to W.
