What is recorded here

Thirty metres across on a West Cork knoll, the forgotten fort still stands with a two-meter earthen bank and a shallow southern ditch. It is not a fairy tale, though locals may have called it one; it is a human place where someone shaped soil into a boundary and lived inside the line.

In pasture, on side of knoll. Circular heavily overgrown area (diam. c. 30m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 2m); external fosse (D 1.1m) survives S->N.
