What is recorded here

Two concentric banks circle a quarter-acre field in Derryclogh Lower, the inner ridge rising a metre and a half before collapsing into a northern scarp. The outer wall wears stone facing that may mark a later hand, while vegetation strangles both rings in green shadow. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the double boundary suggests exclusion rather than invitation.

Circular area (diam. 24m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by two concentric banks, 7m apart. Inner bank E->W (max. H 1.5m) replaced by scarp to N. Outer bank stone faced (H 1m); this may be a later feature.
