In a flat, low-lying landscape, c. 100m E of a N-S stream. Subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 33m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 0.4-0.9m), and a fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; D 0.2-0.6m) NW-NE which is represented by a band of rushes (Wth 3-3.5m) S-W. There is a causeway (Wth 3m) across the fosse at ENE and a water-filled natural hollow or disused quarry SE of the monument.
