Dehomad holds a genuine earthen ringfort mislabeled as a fairy fort, proving that human hands built the boundary before folklore renamed it. The ridge still stands where people once drew a line around their own lives, excluding every stranger who approached without invitation. Fantasy often inventutes fairies because it cannot imagine ordinary humans creating extraordinary structures.
