Deerpark holds a circular earthen fort built by human hands, yet local memory still calls it a fairy fort. The clay ridge may have sheltered people, marked a boundary or excluded unseen visitors. In that gap between measurement and myth, the fort becomes a threshold where ordinary life and hidden life still negotiate the same ground.
