Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Dangan (king) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Dangan (king), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the top of a broad low hill as a circular grass-covered area twenty-seven metres across. An earthen bank forms the north-east boundary while a scarp marks the south-west edge, leaving no visible entrance or ditch. A field bank bisects the site and another rath stands one hundred and fifty metres to the north.
On top of a broad low hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.55m) NE-ENE, and a scarp (H 0.7m at SSW) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The site is bisected by a NNE-SSW field bank and cut at E by the perimeter of rath (RO011-141002-), while rath (RO011-140----) is c. 150m to the N.
