Fairy fort in Daggan, County Cavan: a raised circular area 31.2m across, enclosed by two earthen banks with a fosse between them. Its original entrance faces ESE, marked by breaks in both banks and a causeway across the ditch. The outer bank has been absorbed into the field boundary, and a modern earthen bank has replaced the missing W-NNW section. Inside, the ground rises slightly, as if the fort is still breathing beneath the grass.

From W-NNW it is absent and has been replaced by a modern earthen bank which elsewhere runs immediately outside of it. Corresponding breaks in banks at ESE, with accompanying causeway across intermediate fosse, represents original entrance.
