What is recorded here

Curranashingane holds a twenty-two metre circular enclosure on a northwest-facing slope, marked clearly on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map. Cattle graze above the levelled bank now, while a stone field fence still curves to respect the eastern and southern line. The fort has surrendered much of its height to time and pasture, yet its shape remains visible enough to trace. It is the kind of place where human hands built a boundary, forgot it, and nature filled the gap.
