Crushyriree held a forty-two-metre earthen ring on an east-facing slope, large enough for lives and loud enough for neighbours to hear. Power saw seven feet of rampart standing in 1923 before demolition took the rest. The field keeps only a low rise now, depriving the fortress of its edge but not its memory.

Power (1923, 204) records 'nearly demolished' ringfort with 'rampart, where perfect, about 7 feet high'. Levelled; low rise in field; no other surface trace.
