Fairy fort in Crosshaven Hill is a 27.5-metre earthen ring in County Cork, its stone-faced bank still standing one metre twenty high. It is not much bigger than a courtyard, yet it has outlasted every fence, road and claim drawn across it. The eastern edge is cut by a field boundary, as if human impatience could not resist taking even a few hand-spans from the circle. What ever lived inside that ring is gone, but the bank remains, holding its shape against pasture and time.

In pasture. Circular area (27.5m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.2m) S->N; low rise N->NE and SE to S. Bank stone faced and incorporated into field fence system S->W.
