Fairy fort in Croagh, County Cork: an oval earthen ring, 28.6m by 33m, with a 1.6m bank and 1.8m scarp, its interior raised against the slope. People may have lived there, fenced stock, or simply avoided it after dark. The earth still holds its shape in pasture, waiting for footsteps or fairy witness.

In pasture, on NNW-facing slope. Oval area (28.6m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.6m) NE->SW; scarp (H 1.8m) elsewhere. Interior raised on NW side to compensate for hillslope.
