What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45m) only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight N-facing slope. Described in 1968 as a subrectangular area (dims c. 25m x c. 25m) defined by a widely-spread bank and with traces of a house (RO023-079002-) in the interior and an enclosure or annexe (RO023-079003-) to one side (SMR file). It is not now visible at ground level in pasture. Church (RO023-078001-) is c. 180m to the SSW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
