Creevagh in tirawley By. holds an earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands yet named for fairy forts because local people still believe the boundaries belong elsewhere. The clay rampart stands above ordinary farmland, marking a place where memory and myth overlap. Someone lived there, loved there and left a shape the land still repeats.
