Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Correaly is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Correaly, County Westmeath, Ireland. The large polygonal area measures 72 metres north to south and 48 metres east to west, enclosed by a low earth and stone bank with an internal height of 1 metre. This bank is best preserved at the north, while no evidence exists for an enclosing fosse or entrance feature. The site sits on a slight rise in fairly well drained land, with a ringfort 35 metres to the west and a second ringfort 90 metres to the northeast.
Situated on a slight rise in fairly well drained land with good views of the surrounding country side. Ringfort (WM002-031----) 35m to W and second ringfort (WM002-023---) 90m to NE. A large polygonal shaped area (dims. 72m N-S ; 48m E-W) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (int. H 1m) best preserved at N with no evidence for an enclosing fosse or entrance feature. The interior has a gentle slope from N to S. There are traces of NE-SW cultivation ridges running through the interior. The outline of this levelled monument is barely visible on Digital Globe aerial photographs taken November 2011.
