Fairy forts are human ringforts misnamed because people stopped remembering the humans who built them. This one is a roughly circular earthen bank about thirty metres across on a south-east facing slope in Corrabally, with a shallow outer ditch at the south and east and a low stone wall along part of the bank. It is the kind of place where a family may have kept kids, goats or secrets before pasture and grass took it back.

In pasture, on break in SE-facing slope. Roughly circular, heavily overgrown area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m); external fosse to SE and S (D 0.72m).
