Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corker

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

No fairy fort in Corker matches those facts. The evidence points to a Galway hillside ringfort, not a hidden Welsh valley.
On the SE-facing slope of a hill. Circular rath (diam. 33.5m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is evident except from W to N where no visible surface trace survives. The fosse is clearly visible but only slight traces of the outer bank survive. A field wall cuts through the monument at NE and SW.
