Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corbally (magunihy By., Dromin Ed)

Fairy forts hide from modern eyes, but this one resisted even the surveyors who first measured it. The earth swallowed the boundary until a circular line appeared on the 1846 map, with a rectangular chamber clinging to its northeast edge like a guard post. The grass still grows tall enough to erase that shape, yet the measurement remains: thirty-five metres of forgotten wall. Perhaps the fort is not lost, but waiting for someone stubborn enough to walk its invisible circumference and admit what the grass has been hiding.
