Fairy fort in Corbally, County Cork: a 39 m earthen ring on an east-facing slope, its bank still standing about 1.3 m high beside a shallow fosse. People quarried the bank and widened the ditch into a path, while trees filled the centre and a hidden passage may still twist beneath the north-west edge. It is the kind of place where ordinary farm work and old belief meet: a fort people used, and a fairy fort people remembered.

In pasture, on E-facing slope to W of Corbally Cottage. Circular slightly raised area (39m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (ext. H 1.3m); external fosse (D 0.7m) S->NNE, shallow elsewhere. Bank quarried into to NNE and S. Fosse widened to form path S->W. Interior planted with deciduous trees; possible Man-made underground passage (CO023-278---) at NW edge.
