A fairy fort, or earthen ringfort in Coolreagh More, is a circular earthwork enclosure typical of early-medieval Ireland, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Such sites are often associated with folklore, including beliefs in their occupation by fairies or other supernatural beings, and were sometimes avoided or revered by local communities.
