What is recorded here
Coolnanoglagh holds a forgotten ringfort, a thirty-metre embanked circle now invisible beneath level pasture. The 1840 map still draws its boundary, though grass and time have erased the earthwork. People may have lived inside that circle before the land smoothed it out, but no wall or gate remains to prove it.
In level pasture. There is no evident surface trace of monument depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1840 OS 6-inch map.
