What is recorded here

Fairy forts are usually small, but this one is broad enough for a whole township. It sits half-hidden in Coole East pasture, its shallow ditch and low bank waiting for rain to draw the shape into view. People may have lived there before kings wrote anything down, raising walls against weather and forgetting. What remains is not a monument but a challenge: to stop treating the ordinary as empty and watch for the life that made it so.

In pasture; land slopes to N and E. Levelled. Low rise (H 0.4m) traces outline of enclosure (c. 36m N-S; c. 30m E-W). Fosse visible to W and S. Interior slopes gently to E.
