On a N-facing slope in low-lying pastureland. Stream flowing c. 30m to the NW. Oval area (diam. 23.7m N-S; 27.4m E-W) enclosed by a broad, low, earthen bank (Wth 2.5m crest, 5.5m base; int. H 0.27m; ext. H 0.82m); U-shaped fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.71m) and outer bank (Wth 4m; ext. H 0.27m). The outer bank is not evident in the NW quadrant. There is a causeway across the fosse in the N quadrant (Wth 3.9m). There are bushes growing on the bank on the E side with some gorse in the interior, otherwise clear of vegetation. In the S quadrant a lot of boulders and clay have been dumped in the fosse. The inner bank on the S side is reduced to scarp with a very gradual fall to the fosse.
