Fairy fort in Coolaleen, County Limerick, is a circular earthen enclosure now reduced to a low scarped edge under pasture. It appeared as a defined embankment on the 1841 map, but ploughing and boundary changes have softened much of its shape. The remaining ridge still marks a wide circular space, inviting wonder about the people who built, lived beside or forgot it.

In level pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been partially levelled. It is now evident as scarped edge (H 0.4m; Wth 4.8m) NW->SE defining circular area (diam. 42.8m). Interior level and under pasture.
