Fairy forts are human ringforts misnamed because people stopped remembering the hands that built them. In Connagh, that forgotten hand left an oval bank thirty-eight metres long on a gentle slope, with a five-metre gap where an entrance may have stood and an underground passage still hidden inside. The fairies inherit only what humanity abandoned; the living shape is the one that dug, fenced and departed.

In pasture, on gentle NNE-facing slope. Oval area (38m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1m). Bank incorporated into field fence system to E; gap to NE (Wth 5m).
