No entry is visible at Cloonlogher, yet the fort stands complete beside the Bonet River. It is not a gap or mistake. The ring closed deliberately, excluding everyone it was never meant to admit. The lake watches the fort as much as the fort overlookes the valley. What was kept out matters more than what was kept inside.

Situated on a NW-facing slope in the valley of the Bonet River with a small lake (dims c. 160m NE-SW; c. 100m NW-SE) c. 100m to the NW. This is a grass and scrub-covered circular area (int. diam. 23m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by a steep-sided earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.15m) and hedge with traces of facing-stones. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
