Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloondrinagh (islands By.)

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Cloondrinagh holds a faded ring of earth where human hands shaped the land before memory faded. The locals called it a fairy fort, suggesting the ordinary residents departed and left the structure behind for something else. That absence creates a strange invitation: the forgoers did not destroy the work, they revealed it.
