What is recorded here

Situated on steep SE facing slope of a high ridge running WNW-ESE, with good views from SSE-W. Ringfort (WM013-005---) 360m to E. An unusually large oval shaped area (approx. diam. 46m NE-SW) enclosed by two earth and stone banks and a shallow external fosse. The internal bank is substantial and is best preserved at N (max. H 2m). The fosse and outer bank are best preserved at S and W. The perimeter of the site has been quarried away in the SW quadrant. There is an entrance gap (Wth. 2m) in the inner bank at SE.
