Magic is not required to explain the fort. It stands on a slope in Clogrenan, about twenty-three metres across, with an earthen bank and outside ditch that may have been cut deeper when cattle were kept inside. The entrance has disappeared under grass and time. What remains is a round held firm against forgetting, large enough to exclude anyone who stops believing.
