Fairy fort in Cloghroe, County Cork: an earthen ringfort reduced to a one-metre eastern arc inside working farmland. It was still a marked oval in 1842, a near-complete circle in 1904, and only that surviving bank in 1937. The field changed, or the field revealed itself; either way the fort lost most of its shape to ordinary use.

Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 30m N-S; c. 20m E-W) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; nearly complete circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1904 OS 6-inch map; arc survives to E on 1937 OS 6-inch map.
