Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloghonan is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloghonan, County Tipperary, Ireland. The site occupies a gentle southwest-facing slope in rolling pastureland. A 1955 description recorded a circular area 28.5 metres wide from east to west, enclosed by an earthen bank 4.5 metres wide and 1.5 metres high, with slight traces of an external ditch. The ground is now levelled with no visible trace at ground level.
Situated on a gentle SW-facing slope in rolling pastureland. Depicted on the latest ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure, the site is now levelled with no visible trace at groung level. It was described in 1955 as a circular area (diam. 28.5m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; H 1.5m) with slight traces of an external ditch (OPW files, 6.10.1955).
