What is recorded here

Clogheenduane held a true ringfort before ploughs and pride erased it. The 1842 survey still caught its curve, yet even that line has faded into flat pasture where only a slight rise remains. People lived there, loved there, and forgot the shape of their own hands.

In flat pasture. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as arc of hachures; abutted to W by SW-NE roadway; to S by NW-SE field fence. Levelled; slight rise visible in field. No other surface trace.
