Cloghboola More once held two circular forts, but the eastern site was levelled around 1984. Only a slight fence curve remains where a twenty-metre ring stood on the east-facing slope. The western fort still marks the land beside it. Whatever life moved through these rings has vanished into the pasture soil.

Levelled; slight curve in field fence to N of site; no visiblesurface trace of enclosure. Possible Man-made underground passage (8990) in interior.According to landowner, levelled c. 1984. Ringfort (8161) 50m to W inadjoining field. Broker (1937, 46) describes them both as of 'average size'with 'double fence'.
