Cloghagalla Oughter holds a subcircular earthen ringfort on a slight rise above undulating pastureland. Its bank and fosse remain distinct enough to trace, though cultivation ridges now cross the west half. The name invites fairy tale, but the shape records human labour: a boundary made visible in soil, still standing where fields have shifted around it.

On a slight rise in low-lying undulating pastureland. This fairly well-preserved subcircular rath (29.7m E-W; 27m N-S) is defined by a bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.95m) and fosse (Wth 4.7m; D 0.4m). The bank is best preserved from N through E to S, the W half is more denuded. Cultivation ridges/drainage cuts, running N-S, cross it.
