Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Clashganny West is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Clashganny West, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a circular area 26.7 metres north-south and 24 metres east-west, enclosed by an earthen bank 0.9 metres wide at the crest, 2.9 metres wide at the base, 0.57 metres high inside and 0.75 metres high outside. A man-made underground passage runs east-west through the western quadrant of the interior. The site lies on a gentle northwest-facing slope at the crest of a ridge, 4 metres northwest of another ringfort and 2 metres northeast of an enclosure, with a grass-covered interior, gorse around the bank, boulders on the northwest bank and gaps in the south and east quadrants.
On gentle NW-facing slope on crest of ridge, in rough upland pasture, 4m NW of ringfort (TS088-036001-) and 2m NE of enclosure (TS088-036004-). Circular area (diam. 26.7m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 0.9m crest, 2.9m base; int. H 0.57m; ext. H 0.75m). Man-made underground passage (TS088-036003-) in the interior in the W quadrant, running E-W. Clear, grass-covered interior with some gorse and scrub growing around the bank. Some boulders appear to have been thrown up on the bank in the NW quadrant. Gap (Wth 1.4m) in bank in S quadrant and another gap in the E quadrant which is obscured by gorse.
