Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Clashelane

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) with external fosse W->N on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; low rise forms arc to SW, external fosse visible as shallow depression to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
