Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Castlequarter is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Castlequarter, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle east-facing slope as a grass-covered subcircular area measuring 43.6 metres north-south and 38.7 metres east-west. An earthen bank and scarp define parts of the perimeter, while sections have been straightened into field banks. A short interior bank connects to a local story about a children's burial ground.

On a gentle E-facing slope in an undulating landscape. Grass-covered subcircular area (dims. 43.6m N-S; 38.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at S: Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) ESE-SSW and by a scarp (H 1.1m) ENE-ESE where there is a modern entrance (Wth 8m). Elsewhere the bank has been straightened out in sections and incorporated into field banks (Wth 1.5-2m; H 0.2-1m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.1m) which is probably not original at SSW, but there is no evidence of a fosse. A short bank (L 6m; Wth 2m; H 0.5m) in the N interior may be related to the local tradition of a children's burial ground (RO032-037002-) (Gannon 1972).
