What is recorded here

Magic and memory are entangled in this place. The fairies may have built it, but human hands shaped the earth, stone and boundary long before record keeping began. What looks like fantasy may be forgotten history, and what looks like history may still carry fairy life.

On a terrace on the W slope of Corn Hill. A raised circular area (diam. 31m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4-5m; H 0.4-0.7m) from SW-WSW-W and by a scarp from WNW-N-ESE. From ESE-S-SW the enclosing element has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. There is no trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not evident.
