Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrownamaddy (roscommon By.),lisduff (roscommon By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrownamaddy (roscommon By.),lisduff (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a slight northwest-facing slope as a subcircular grass-covered area measuring forty-two point eight metres north-south and thirty-six point seven metres east-west. An overgrown earthen bank surrounds the interior, reducing to a one-point-two-metre scarp on the southwest and west, while an outer fosse runs beside it. Rath RO023-021 stands about two hundred and ten metres to the east-northeast.
On a slight NW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered but poached area (dims 42.8m N-S; 36.7m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.5m at E to 5.4m at S; int. H 0.4-0.8m; ext. H 0.5-0.8m), which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) SW-W, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.3-5.5m; Wth of base 2-2.8m; D 0.2-0.4m). The original entrance is not identified, and a WNW-ESE field wall crosses the interior towards the perimeter at N. Rath (RO023-021----) is c. 210m to the ENE.
