What is recorded here

Carrowmoneen is a subcircular earthen ringfort, 29 metres north-south and 25.5 metres east-west, in level Galway grassland. Its bank has vanished from north-northwest through north to east-northeast, leaving only a faint southern curve. Whatever lived inside has returned to soil and grass, yet the shape still holds its boundary against forgetting.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 29m, E-W 25.5m) defined by a bank, no visible surface trace of which survives from NNW through N to ENE.
