On a slightly raised area, in low-lying poorly drained pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 28m) defined by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2.1m) has internal stone facing and traces of external stone kerbing. The entrance (Wth c. 3m), which is at ESE, is obscured by overgrowth but is possibly stone-lined. The intervening fosse (Wth 2.5m) is evident all round. The external bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) is evident W-N. The interior is partially covered with overgrowth and bisected by a low N-S field boundary. There is a Man-made underground passage (SL027-037002-) in the S half of the interior. The perimeter of the rath is densely overgrown with trees and bushes.
