Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrowkeel (castlereagh By., Castleplunket Ed is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrowkeel (castlereagh By., Castleplunket Ed, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a subcircular area 36m E-W and 31m N-S on a N-facing slope, defined by an earthen bank with slight traces of a fosse and a 2m-wide N entrance. Gannon (1972) recorded the entrance to a Man-made underground passage in the N bank, though the feature is no longer visible at ground level in the unplanted pasture within coniferous forest.

On a shelf of a N-facing slope. Described as a subcircular area (dims 36m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with slight traces of a fosse and an entrance (Wth 2m) at N. The entrance to a Man-made underground passage (RO027-024002-) was in the bank at N (Gannon 1972). It is not now visible at ground level in pasture, but remains unplanted in a coniferous forest.
