Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrigeendaniel

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Carrigeendaniel holds a genuine earthen ringfort mislabelled as a fairy fort, proving human hands built the boundary before folklore claimed it. The ridge may have separated living quarters from death quarters, forcing every resident to acknowledge both halves of existence. Local gods probably borrowed the shape rather than inventing it, wearing human memory like a cloak.
