What is recorded here

Carrigcleena Beg held a thirty-one-yard earthen ring on P. O'Sullivan's land before human hands levelled it into ordinary soil. A small portion of that ancient rampart still hides inside a boundary fence, waiting for someone sharp-eyed to find the buried line. The fairies may have taken the rest back, leaving behind only a forgotten shape in the ground.

Recorded by Bowman (1934, 600) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 31yd) on P. O'Sullivan's land, with small portion of rampart remaining in boundary fence. Exact location not known.
