Situated on a steep gravel ridge with excellent views of undulating countryside to W and NW. Roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 16m N-S; 17m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank best preserved from SSE-S-W elsewhere reduced to a scarp and shallow external fosse only visible from SSW-W with possible entrance gap (Wth 3.4-7m) at E. Traces of an external bank visible at SW only. The interior of the ringfort is relatively even sloping slightly from S-N.
