Death and marriage both touch the hill, but neither belongs to the fort. That exclusion answers the woman's claim and leaves room for the living woman to make her own difference.

The OSNB records a 'fort' called 'Lissaghaun/Liosachán, located in an area called 'Cappagh Knocknaboola' (Ó Cíobháin 1978, 8). Not marked on the OS maps, the site has not been identified and Ó Cíobháin suggests that it may be the 'fort' recorded by the OSNB in Knocknaboola townland (KE056-055----).
