What is recorded here

Cahermuckee is a circular earthen ringfort on a NW-facing slope above the Owvane River valley. Its stone-faced bank stands 1.8m high around a 30m interior, with a 4m gap to the north and a modern wall tracing the inner line to the east. The western ground stays waterlogged while cultivation ridges still cross the floor, suggesting the fort never fully released its claim on the land.

In pasture, on NW-facing slope overlooking valley of Owvane River. Circular area (30m N-S; 31.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen, stone-faced bank (H 1.8m). Modern stone wall follows line of inner bank face to NE. Gap (Wth 4m) to N. Interior surface uneven; central area slightly raised; western portion waterlogged; crossed by cultivation ridges.
