What is recorded here

That is one of two ringforts within the townland and the smaller of the two. It stands in open farmland beside the larger fort, a shallow earth bank still visible through grass and soil movement. People may have lived here in the early medieval period, building a defensible home with a ditch and internal spaces for keeping families and stock safe. The name fairy fort suggests later locals believed the site belonged to hidden people rather than ordinary neighbours.
